Siddharth (Sid) Setia is a senior energy and industrial technology executive with 21+ years of experience spanning well construction, drilling and completions, production, subsurface technologies, digital transformation, and industrial software.

As GM – Growth & Strategy at Falkor (a Kongsberg company), Sid leads business growth and strategic initiatives across APAC and the Middle East, with a focus on industrial intelligence, AI, digital twins, data-driven decision-making, and the future of work in asset-intensive industries. His career across Falkor, Sumitomo Corporation’s OCTG business, and SLB (Schlumberger) brings a broad perspective across field operations, drilling and completions, subsurface and G&G technologies, strategic accounts, and technology adoption—bridging operational challenges with digital and commercial solutions.

Sid is an active industry speaker on Industrial AI, digitalization, subsurface technologies, agentic AI, and the evolution of work in energy. He holds qualifications in Mechanical Engineering and Petroleum Engineering from Curtin University, Australia.

He serves on the SPE Western Australia Board and chairs the SPE WA Facilities & Digital Group. He is also WA Director of the Norwegian Australian Chamber of Commerce
