Scott Draper is a Professor of Civil Engineering at the University of Western Australia (UWA), specialising in ocean and offshore engineering. He holds a DPhil from the University of Oxford and degrees in Engineering and Commerce from UWA. His research focuses on fluid mechanics and sediment transport, with strong industry uptake in offshore energy, pipelines and subsea cables, including contributions to international design standards. He is currently the Dean and Head of School of Engineering at UWA.
