Renu Kannu

Renu is currently the National Robotics and Innovation Lead at CORE Innovation Hub – Operator of the Australian Automation and Robotics Precinct. The AARP is a 51-hectare site that has been made available by DevelopmentWA, and is Australia’s largest test, R&D, demonstration and training ground – for emerging automation, robotics, remote operations and zero emissions technologies. The site includes multiple test beds that can accommodate a range of vehicles, equipment, field robots, drones and other technologies. A collaborative innovation hub also sits within the Precinct. Previously, Renu has been responsible for igniting a thriving innovation community in CORE’s CBD Hub in Perth and across the broader ecosystem. Her superpowers include project management, stakeholder engagement, strategic partnerships and growth strategies. Renu’s industry expertise is at the intersection of the mining, energy and resources space – with domain specialities in robotics, automation and greentech. She has well established networks in the global market having lived and worked in Australia and Europe.
