Marty Clough is the General Manager Strategic Projects for Chevron Australia and oversees initiatives to drive Chevron’s competitive performance.

Marty joined the oil and gas industry in 2000 and Chevron Australia’s Asset Development Team in 2007 where he has held a variety of Petroleum Engineering positions focusing on Australian assets including Gorgon/Jansz, North West Shelf and WA Oil. From 2017 to 2020, Marty completed an assignment in Strategy, Planning and Commercial supporting Chevron’s Africa and Latin America business units, based in Houston.

Returning to Perth in 2020 as the Gas Supply Team Lead role driving gas supply planning for the Australia business, integrating a lower carbon supply strategy for the assets. Most recently, Marty was the Wheatstone Asset Development Manager, a position held since August 2023 with strategic focus areas including Competitive Performance, Joint Venture engagement, Commercial and Lower Carbon.
