Jason is an experienced mechanical engineer in the energy and resources sector. His career includes international work in well interventions, coil tubing operations and support for coal seam gas development. He completed a PhD at the University of Queensland on supersonic impulse turbines for geothermal power, contributing to organic Rankine cycle research facilities. He later led technical development for a geothermal and lithium extraction venture in California, advancing brine‑processing technologies with research partners. Jason now works on carbon capture and energy storage technology development.
