Ellen McGarrity is the State Director for Western Australia at the Advanced Manufacturing Growth Centre (AMGC), an industry‑led, not‑for‑profit organisation supporting the competitiveness of Australian manufacturing.

Ellen leads the Wind Energy Manufacturing Co‑Investment Program in collaboration with the Department of Energy and Economic Diversification. The program is an $8 million initiative providing co-investment and advisory support to build Western Australian manufacturers’ capacity and capabilities to participate in wind turbine manufacturing and servicing supply chains. Through this work, she is helping local industry capture renewable‑energy opportunities and contribute to Australia’s clean‑energy transition.
