Present to the People Running Australia’s Upstream Energy Industry

The Energy Exchange Australia conference program runs alongside the exhibition floor. It is built through the Operator Advisory Council, with WA Government representatives and operator leadership taking part each year. Sessions cover project case studies, technical deep-dives and regulator updates across oil and gas, decommissioning, offshore wind, CCS and hydrogen.

CONFERENCE TOPICS

This is your opportunity to present to a targeted audience of visitors, 72 per cent of whom carry a role in purchasing decisions. The 2026 program featured 150 industry speakers across the three days. We are now accepting speaker applications for sessions across the upstream energy sector, including:

CALL FOR SPEAKERS FAQ

When will I find out if I’m successful?

  • All submissions will be reviewed by our conference committees and will be informed after November 27th whether they are successful or not.

Is there a fee for being a presenter?

  • Please note that Energy Exchange Australia event organisers, Diversified Communications Australia, don’t pay speaker fees or cover costs of travel, nor do we charge speakers to present.

I need to make an amend after I have submitted my paper, what do I do?

Can I submit multiple papers to be considered?

  • Yes, you can. Please email us for more information or complete the submission form multiple times.

Why do you need my headshot for submission?

  • If successful, your headshot will be used on the Energy Exchange Australia website to help promote your presentation. If you are unsuccessful, your personal details including your headshot will be archived in a digitally safe way.

When do you need a copy of my presentation?

  • If successful, you will receive further instructions on when we need your presentation. This will become available to you closer to the event date.

My case study has two authors, can we still submit?

  • Yes, please ensure that both author details are outlined in the biography section of your submission. We will contact you if we need further information.

I’ve been selected as a speaker; do I still need to register to attend Energy Exchange Australia?

  • No need, your contact form you completed at the time of submission covers this for you.
