David commenced as Chief Executive Officer of the Kwinana Industries Council in March 2024.

David is an experienced corporate affairs leader having worked in senior leadership roles across the media, industry, and higher education sectors.

He has more than 20 years’ experience in media, communications, government relations, public policy, issues management and external engagement.

Prior to joining KIC, David was a senior corporate affairs leader in the higher education sector, working at Notre Dame University, Murdoch University and the University of Western Australia.

He has also held an executive leadership role with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where he served as the General Manager of Advocacy.

David started his career with ABC News as a senior radio and television reporter based in Perth and Sydney, specialising in State and Federal politics.
