Murray Bainbridge

Murray is a Trade Team Leader at Scottish Development International. He manages a team of trade specialists involved in supporting companies from Scotland’s world class energy supply chain to discover and access opportunities for collaboration and commercial partnership across the energy sector, with a particular focus on those involved in delivering aspects of the energy transition from decommissioning to hydrogen, geothermal, offshore wind and CCUS.
Murray obtained a BSc. (Hons) degree in Building Engineering & Management and an MSc in Facilities Management from Heriot Watt University. With a working background in the civil engineering and construction industry, he has held multiple roles in the private and public sectors across the Middle East (Saudi Arabia, UAE and Oman) and the UK including consultancy, construction and project management. He has been with SDI for twelve years and has supported companies on trade & investment activity across North America, West Africa, Asia Pacific and the Middle East.
