The event will take place from 10-11 March 2021 at the Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre and will ensure the highest health and safety standards are met. Event organisers, Diversified Communications Australia, are working to a robust COVID-safe plan within State Government guidelines to allow attendees to confidently do business in a safe and controlled environment.
The business events industry is instrumental in assisting local companies and economic growth. Supported by Business Events Perth, AOG Energy 2021 is an important platform that unites the oil and gas industry to facilitate all-important face-to-face connections.
AOG Energy is pleased to be able to showcase and support the sector by planning to offer selected digital livestreams of critical parts of the conference program to professionals that are unable to attend the event in-person.
AOG Energy Event Director, Bill Hare said the 2021 event bookended a challenging 12 months for both the events and the oil and gas industry.
“Returning to Perth is an opportunity to showcase local capability and innovation, LNG leadership and provide networking opportunities that would simply not be possible in most other jurisdictions in the world,” Mr Hare said.
“AOG Energy has always been about local innovation and opportunities. With Australia now the world’s biggest LNG exporter, Western Australia is poised to be ground zero for this industry.
“Traditionally about 90 per cent of exhibitors and attendees have been local to Western Australia and with business confidence picking up, we are expecting a successful event.”
The conference program will include a must-see opening presentation at the Industry Supply Forum by WA Government with keynotes from Woodside and Chevron addressing the audience. NERA Decommissioning General Manager, Andrew Taylor will speak about servicing Australia’s decommissioning opportunities. DJITSI Resources and Project Facilitation Deputy Director General, Chris Clark will chair the session ‘Hydrogen: An emerging industry in WA’s energy future’. While Deloitte’s Matthew Judkins will offer an insight into the future of low emissions.
As for the Subsea Forum, representatives from Woodside and Worley alongside other subsea leaders will deliver presentations on topics relating to the future of subsea, digitisation in subsea, renewable energy and subsea innovation.
