Francesco holds a master’s degree in aerospace engineering from Politecnico di Milano and he has been working with Saipem in the offshore energy industry for 20years, making experiences in different countries (including Australia) and several roles within the company, spanning from technical to management positions. At present, Francesco holds the position of global Head of Commercial and Tendering for Sonsub, the Saipem’s Business Line specialised in subsea technologies and associated services. Francesco and the Sonsub team are currently engaged in the promotion and implementation of disruptive technologies such as underwater drones, pipeline repair and monitoring solutions as well as subsea processing technologies in the offshore energy market, with increasing focus also on the defence segment.
