Senior executives from some of the world’s leading oil and gas companies will feature in what is being described as the most impressive speaker list in the long history of Australia’s largest energy event, the Australasian Oil & Gas Exhibition and Conference (AOG).

Presenters at the AOG 2018 Conferences in Perth next week include key decision makers from high profile E&P companies such as Chevron, Shell, Statoil and Woodside.

Some of the company leaders appearing at AOG this year include:

  • Sue Beattie, Prelude Maintenance Manager, Shell Australia Ltd;
  • Jacques-Etienne Michel, Country Manager, Statoil Australia;
  • Michael Utsler, COO, Woodside Energy; and
  • Niall Myles, Senior Vice President – Australia Operating Unit, Woodside Energy.

They will be joined by a number of key industry decision makers such as:

  • Bernadette Cullinane, Australian Oil and Gas Leader, Deloitte;
  • Miranda Taylor, CEO, NERA;
  • Erica Smyth, Non-Executive Director, NERA;
  • Mary Hackett, Oil & Gas Executive;
  • Simon Hoffman, Project Director, Monadelphous; and

The 37th AOG 2018 Exhibition and Conference will be launched with a special opening presentation from the Premier of Western Australia, the Hon Mark McGowan, on Wednesday the 14th of March.

Bill Hare, AOG 2018 Event Director for Diversified Communications, said this year’s Conferences are being rated as the best in the long and successful history of Australia’s largest oil and gas event.

“Thanks to the wonderful support of our conference committees comprising representatives from Woodside, Chevron, Shell, Deloitte, NERA and the Western Australia Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation, we have developed what really is a world-class conference programme,” Mr Hare said.

“Last year’s free-to-attend industry forums were a big hit and I am very confident that this year’s Collaboration, Subsea and Knowledge Forums will be even more popular.

“With the confidence levels in the local oil and gas industry rebounding strongly, AOG 2018 will be a critical event for anyone that needs to hear of the latest developments and opportunities and to network with some of the key decision makers,” Mr Hare said.

The three-day, free-to-attend Collaboration, Subsea and Knowledge Forums will be staged in specially constructed theatres on the floor of the PCEC Exhibition Hall when AOG 2018 is staged from March 14 to 16.
