Ursula Benson

Ursula is the Asset Retirement Manager for Chevron Australia. She is responsible for Legacy and Decommissioning activities in the Australian Business Unit. Ursula has over 30 years of decommissioning experience starting her career in consulting working on decommissioning projects in Australia, South East Asia and Korea. Since joining Chevron back in 2002 she has held a number of positions including operational field based roles on Barrow Island and well abandonment and decommissioning roles in California. Most recently her team have completed on shore decommissioning of Chevron’s Thevenard Island Asset and in 2024 removed nine offshore platforms.
