Toby Foster is a seasoned resources industry professional with over two decades of experience in Australian minerals and petroleum exploration. As the recently appointed Chief Commercial Officer at AVESS Energy, he is spearheading the company’s commercial strategy for long-duration energy storage solutions. Previously, as Managing Director of Transition Minerals Limited, Toby led the team that discovered the Barkly rare earths and vanadium deposit in the Northern Territory.
Throughout his career, Toby has demonstrated expertise in corporate development, investment analysis and stakeholder engagement. He has a proven track record of attracting capital and achieving favourable asset transactions.
Toby’s experience spans various roles, including Executive Director at Advent Energy Ltd and Corporate Development Manager at MEC Resources Ltd.
Holding postgraduate qualifications in petroleum engineering, an MBA and bachelor of science, Toby combines technical knowledge with business acumen.
