Speaker Profile

Peter is a based in Perth as the AI Lead for Advanced Navigation's Subsea Division. He holds Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from the University of Western Australia and a Masters of Predictive Analytics from Curtin University.

After a decade working in production chemistry roles for the offshore industry, Peter completed further study to focus on his long held interests of imaging and machine learning. He now leads a team developing deep-learning and computer vision capability for Advanced Navigation's Hydrus micro-AUV.
