Mayur works with the Projects team at Blakemere, leveraging his expertise in mechanical engineering and finance.
He began his career in underground mining, focusing on drill rigs and safety-critical equipment, before transitioning to asset management for BHP, Fortescue, and Rio Tinto. In this role, he managed train load-outs, reclaimers, and ship loaders, and taught site staff about critical safety hydraulic systems. Currently, Mayur works in the offshore decommissioning industry, specializing in scoping decommissioning projects and developing bespoke tooling for safely removing offshore structures in the Asia pacific region.
As an active member of the Energy Club Young Professionals, Mayur enjoys connecting with like-minded individuals and contributing to the community. He has found inspiration in the stories shared by industry leaders, particularly those shaping the energy transition, and looks forward to sharing these insights with future generations of professionals.
