Ian manages the Maintenance and Reliability Function for the Chevron Australia Business Unit. He joined Chevron in 2008 as a Project Engineer with the Gorgon Project and progressed through to the role of Engineering Manager prior to transitioning into a Base Business role running the Brownfield Projects Team. He subsequently transitioned into Operations as one of the back-to-back rotational Production Managers for the Gorgon LNG Facility and Person-in-Charge on Barrow Island where he had the privilege to ‘run’ the facility he helped to design. He has recently moved into his new role.
Prior to joining Chevron, Ian worked in a number of diverse roles within Engineering, Construction, Commissioning, HSE and Government Approvals on Major Capital Projects in UK, Kazakhstan and China.
